The Gist…

It’s like March Madness with a touch of Fantasy Football but with a WHOLE lot of Reality TV, The Bachelor, Love, Right Reasons, and Abs thrown in! Mainly, The Bachelor Bracket is all about having a little extra fun and excitement!

Leave the pencil, paper, and calculator in your drawers. Your brackets can be edited online from anywhere and we automatically score and rank your league after each episode!

We’ll provide the platform and contestant bios and you’ll fill out the brackets and form leagues to compete against your friends, colleagues, siblings – whoever.

Filling out a bracket entails selecting who you predict who will receive a rose each week.  For each prediction that you get right, you receive points. As the season progresses, you have the opportunity to earn more points.  At the end of the season, the 3 players with the most points win 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

In the event of a tie, the winner will automatically be determined by the player who saved their final brackets first.  So try not to wait until the very last minute…it may be the difference between winning and losing.

Things to note…

We now offer free and paid leagues.  There are 4 different game-type options:

  1. Once & Done: Make all your brackets upfront, before the 1st episode airs.
  2. After the 1st Rose: Let contestants make a first impression in the 1st episode before making your picks. Make sure all brackets from the 2nd elimination round to the final elimination round are made before the 2nd episode airs.
  3. Week to Week: Update your brackets before each week’s episode airs.
  4. Custom: You, as the admin, control everything – contestants, scoring, locking, rules. This is often times used for shows outside of “The Bachelor” franchise.

You can either join a league that is already created, or create your own league.  The site offers Official public leagues for anyone to join.  Fans can easily make their own public or private leagues.  Private leagues require the league admin to either send an invite or accept players as they request to join.

To make things even more interesting, we have added Bonus Questions for each elimination round. All official rounds will include these Bonus Questions.  Private league admins have the option to deactivate the Bonus Questions, use the site provided Bonus Questions, or even create their own!

Official Paid League Prizes:

  1. Prizes are determined and set by The Bachelor Bracket
  2. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
  3. Prizes will be in the form of Bachelor Bucks and awarded at the conclusion of the final elimination round once all points are calculated.

Fan Made Paid League Prizes:

  1. Prizes are automatically calculated based on the Total amount of fees collected
  2. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
    1. 1st Place automatically receives 50% of the total prize pool
    2. 2nd Place automatically receives 35% of the total prize pool
    3. 3rd Place automatically receives 15% of the total prize pool
  3. Prizes will be in the form of Bachelor Bucks and awarded at the conclusion of the final elimination round once all points are calculated.

Last, but CERTAINLY not least…

Elimination Rounds lock at 8pm EST (5pm PST). There is a countdown timer for each game-type to show how much time you have left to edit your brackets.

When you are done editing your brackets, make sure you press the save button (otherwise your edits will not be recorded).

For each week’s bracket, we use the term “elimination round”.  This is because ABC likes to keep us on our toes and has made the rose ceremonies somewhat unpredictable. There are also occasional episodes where the Bachelor or Bachelorette decides that they don’t want to have a rose ceremony at all for a particular week.  “Elimination Round” is synonymous with rose ceremony, but also applies when the Bachelor or Bachelorette decides that they want to skip the rose ceremony for that week.

Keep in mind that there is typically one episode a season ending with “To Be Continued” where we have to wait until the following episode to see the Rose Ceremony.  This means that there may be a week where no elimination rounds are scored.  Please understand that we have no affiliation with ABC and cannot control their editing.  We just make the most with what they throw at us!

For week to week game-type leagues, we recommend you ALWAYS make your brackets for 2 elimination rounds at a time.  As much as we wish ABC would stick to the script and have predictable rose ceremonies each and every week, we all know that this will never be the case.  To avoid missing out on earning points, make sure to make your brackets for two eliminations at a time.

Lookout for smack talk on the message board located on your account home page. Additionally, a message icon on your account home page will notify you of any messages sent by The Bachelor Bracket relating to the show or your account.
