Greetings once again, Bachelorette Fans! Kim from Head Over Feels here to bring you my favorite soundbites from this week’s episode. ABC decided to kill me this week and run two episodes promising BIG DRAMA. I thought this episode failed to deliver on the promise of drama, but it DID deliver on laughs and ridiculous moments. And it DID cement my favorite guy of the season who will NEVER get picked (Marquel…why are you so funny and SO FINE), so that’s progress.
Much like my post last week with all the Magic Mike gifs, I make no apologies for all the John Krasinski/Jimmy Fallon gifs. 🙂
“I’m not DESPERATE for Love.” — Nick V.
Yet you’re on The Bachelorette?
“Any practical person would be skeptical about this.” — Nick V.
At least someone has a modicum of sense around here.
“I can turn him into a believer.” –Andi on Nick V.
I see this ending badly. Anyone else remember how it ended for Desiree and the skeptical guy last season?
“It’s Boyz II Men! They made me fall in love in 7th and 8th grade so many times.” –Brian
I’m amused at how ALL the guys put Boyz II Men in the context of 7th grade. They are EVERYONE’S 7th Grade.
“I’m gonna serenade the f*ck out of her.” –Marquel
Marquel…YOU ARE A DELIGHT. Officially my favorite guy of the season, and if they were ever to have an African American Bachelor, he should be it.
“Whatever Josh and Andi have it’s nowhere near what she and I have.” –Marcus
My friend Gillian says that she gets a serial killer vibes from Nick V. (“He has dead eyes!!”) but I get them from Marcus who seems just a wee bit too convinced of his connection with Andi considering he had not had a one-on-one date as of this episode.
“I look like a Creepy Old Man.” –JJ
Accurate.
“This is making me think seriously about JJ at this point.” –Andi on the old age makeup
Note to all dudes: put on old age make-up and a girl will think seriously about you. Barney Stinson was right.
“I’ve never kissed an 80 year old man.” –Andi
“I want to somehow make this whole unnatural experience natural.” –Nick on getting the flowers
Yes, asking a producer if it’s okay for you to order flowers is TOTALLY natural, Nick.
“I’m the kind of person who will give each and every person the benefit of the doubt, it doesn’t matter if they’re a dork, if they’re bleep, if they’re nerdy…that’s the type of person that I am.” –Andrew
None of this rant made sense. The only thing that it did was confirm that Andrew is still the mean quarterback from high school.
“We can all the pretend that we’re best friends, but at the end of the day, that’s not how this is going to end.” –JJ
RUMBLE!!!!
That’s it for this episode! I’ll be back tomorrow with my post on Monday’s episode. Till then…
Eliminated: Bradley, Brett, Ray (who left on his own due to a friend’s death)
